軽量鉄骨の構造体を現し、倉庫のような無機質な素材感を空間の個性として活かした。ヴィンテージ家具や雑貨、木の温もりを重ねることで、時を経たような落ち着きのある空間をつくっている。ガラスブロックは光を柔らかく取り込みながら、内外の視線を緩やかにつなぐ。本来バックヤードに配置されるカラー商材やシンクをコの字型のカウンターにまとめ、空間の中心に配置。人が自然と集い、会話を交わす「囲炉裏」のあり方を現代の美容室に再定義し、客とオーナーの交流が生まれる場とした。
The exposed light-gauge steel structure brings an industrial, warehouse-like materiality to the space, making its raw character an integral part of the interior. The warmth of wood is layered with vintage furniture and objects to create a calm atmosphere that feels as though it has evolved over time.
Glass blocks softly diffuse natural light while creating a subtle visual connection between the interior and exterior. Products and a sink, typically concealed in the back-of-house area, are gathered into a U-shaped counter and placed at the heart of the space. Drawing on the traditional Japanese irori—the hearth around which people naturally gather and converse—the counter reinterprets this communal setting within a contemporary hair salon, creating a place where clients and the owner can naturally interact.
