既存の木造躯体の暖かさと、要所に取り入れたフレキシブルボードの軽やかさで、山小屋の雰囲気と現代的なスポーツのイメージを融合させた。
BAUM has just finished GATE2, an outdoor shop built in Fukui Prefecture. The main material used are steal, wood and glass. The geometrical volume is pretty essential as the goods shown inside.GATE2 is infact a specialty store of climbing and hiking.
The architect plays with the light in order to convey the atmosphere of a montain lodge together with the sports essentials.
