弧を描く屋根が特徴の専用住宅。出来るだけ軽やかな屋根で平屋の様な住宅を目指した。内部は施主セレクトのアンティーク家具や照明をベースに内装を決定。各部屋から中庭を眺められるようにし、リビングの特注大型木製サッシからは中庭へのアクセスが可能となっている。デッキスペースを利用した第二の家族団らんの場をつくることが出来た。
A private residence characterized by a gently curved roof. The design pursues a light and seemingly floating roofscape, creating the sense of a single-story house despite its scale.
The interior was developed around a collection of antique furniture and lighting selected by the owners. The courtyard is visually connected to every room, while a custom-made, large timber-framed window in the living room provides direct access to the courtyard. The adjoining deck creates an additional setting for the family to gather, extending everyday life seamlessly into the outdoors.
